We are on track to support 10,000 women by April 2025

Three years ago, we set a goal for ourselves to double the number of unemployed women we support annually by April 2025, to meet the ever rising demand for our service in local communities across the country. Today, we are within touching distance of the goal. By the end of March, we will support 10,000 women.

10,000 isn’t just a number. It’s 10,000 real women with real lives and real potential. It’s 10,000 real women, too often left feeling discouraged and defeated as they try their best to navigate a challenging job market. 10,000 women chose to turn to Smart Works for support, and left our centres with their confidence restored and their heads held high.

Our work isn’t finished – there are still thousands of women across the UK who need us, with demand for our service continuing to increase.

We need your help to support 10,000 more women

The cost-of-living crisis shadow still looms large and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to deliver our support in the current environment. We’re so grateful for all the time you already give to our community, but we’re reaching out specifically to ask if you would consider one more Step Up for Smart Works.

Our walking challenge event – 10,000 steps a day, every day, to celebrate each and every woman we supported – takes place throughout March. You can get your steps in as a team or solo, and we ask you to help us raise £200 per person or £1,000 per team of five.

Your support means we can continue to be there for the next 10,000 women.

Will you help us?
